The Confluence (E8)

Follow Thornton Creek upstream from Meadowbrook Pond and you’ll see the confluence of the north and south forks.  The right-angle merging of these two creeks emphasizes the urban influences on Thornton Creek.  The City of Seattle has purchased most of the land around the confluence and will eventually remove the houses and restore the land.
