See what the kids in Homewaters' field investigations do! We've finally come up with a way to convey the feel of our field programs. While this video doesn't show the preparatory work we do behind the scences -- or that teachers do with their students before the field trip -- it does give viewers a sense of what the outdoor lessons encompass. Can you spare three minutes to visit with some fifth graders as they explore Matthews Beach? Click here! Thanks to board member Ross Freeman for his tireless work to make this happen. Caring citizens like you make our work possible. When you're doing your year-end giving, please think of the good works of our efficient, effective local organization. Your contribution will make a real difference by giving urban youngsters opportunities to connect with nearby nature. When folks like you give our children a chance to touch and hear and feel the wonder of the natural world, we ALL benefit. Plant the seeds of a stronger future now! Thanks to all our partners and supporters We couldn't do it without you! Homewaters Project has cultivated deep and long-lasting relationships with teachers, school district officials, local public agencies. We are so grateful for the support, counsel, and connections provided by all our wonderful volunteers and community partners. Thank you! |
