Homewaters hosts many community events throughout the year intended to give people in the Seattle area an opportunity to learn more about their place and engage in a greater connection to it.

Know Your Homewaters Spring Party
Ray's Boathouse, Seattle

Join Homewaters for an evening of Northwest appetizers, organic wines compliments of Lopez Island Winery, and live jazz at the critically-acclaimed Ray’s Boathouse on Shilshole Bay. Enjoy the majestic view of the Olympic Mountains and Sound. Bid on fabulous silent auction items, including a sunset sailing trip on Puget Sound and a week at Sinclair Island Retreat. Hear directly from students who have participated in Homewaters Project’s inquiry-based ecological programs. There's something for everyone!

Thornton Creek Long Walk (South Fork)

Trace the route of Thornton Creek's South Fork from Northgate to Matthews Beach in this adult-paced 7-mile hike. Part of the time we'll be tromping along (muddy) creekside trails. Part of the time we'll be walking on roads and sidewalks. (It's an urban walk!)

Where: Starting point provided at time of registration.
When: 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. (more or less)
